When a parent creates an account for example for 2017-2018 school session and they are originally on "mail in" if they update banking information it doesn't roll over into 2018-2019. This creates many issues, for example an old checking account no longer valid may roll over creating an invalid payment for the upcoming year. Maybe giving the parent an option to update the information via mobile app or a clear email stating "banking must be updated to new banking info- for security purposes the information ins't carried over from one year to the next."
