We use Buy Now as a way for extended families or friends outside of enrolled student families to purchase items, many times for events such as grandparents day, mother/son mass and dinner, etc.
We must use a third party form tool to capture the data required for the event, and then need to include a re-direct to the Buy Now link. This causes a disconnect between the data and sales, and requires two reports to be generated and reconciled. These events and sales are also typically hosted or supported by our PTO organization, and they do not have access to either the forms or the sales, so school staff must pull and report the data, which creates a challenge at times with timelines.
