When it comes to updating families' payment methods (i.e changing the family from invoice to auto-debit or even updating the payment account/card on file for families who are already auto-debited) occasionally the updates happen either the day before the payment due date or on the payment due date itself.
As such, given how Tuition Management attempts auto-debit payments the business day before the payment due date, those updates that are made mean that they were not made with enough time to be used. With that in mind, a warning stating that a manual payment needs to be made since the too much time has passed for the auto-debit attempt to go into effect would be a tremendous help.
That way the school and the families would not be caught unaware and assume that the updated information would be acted upon. This would help prevent late fees from being applied and it would give parents/schools the heads up that certain actions would need to be taken.
Similar to how the pop-up message shows up after billing details are adjusted after the invoice and auto-debit reminder have gone out (which tells the school that a revised debit reminder or modified invoice need to be pushed out), a pop-up message stating the auto-debit has already gone into effect would be equally usefully.
