Schools should be allowed to EDIT the Welcome Letter. Especially for older parents who are not tech savvy, or those who have already been with the school for 3 years before we started using Smart Tuition do not take kindly to getting an email from a company they don't recognize, that tells them if they have any trouble with tuition to call some unknown person at this new company. These parents want to talk to the tuition manager in OUR Finance Department. Who they have built a relationship with.
Obviously, they can still call us for Finance questions and support, but the wording of the Welcome Letter makes it seem like they can only contact Smart Tuition for help now. Just to let you know, as customer feedback, I have had MANY parents complain about this. They get confused by the wording on the Welcome Letter and Smart Tuition Portal itself, and think they are no longer allowed to call our Finance department for help, or to mail us a check (or drop it off in person). We should be able to edit the wording on things like the Welcome Letter and certain areas of the parent-facing website.
@Janice, 100% agree on this one, well said. Having the ability to craft a more personalized communication to parents would be welcomed with open arms.
I'd also like to add on to your idea by requesting the ability to customize the letter's layout as well. Being able to rearrange the letter's components to highlight certain areas would put us at ease in delivering this important communication.
These two changes would make for excellent additions to the BBTM product.
